We got the daddy long legs too.
Your tent is darker, the flies seemed to be attracted to the light coloured surfaces of my awning and the walls and ceiling in the van. Likewise Bongo's bongo and Deborah's Camplet, but the darker units didn't seem to suffer so much. And you were the other side of the field which may have made a difference.

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.
I've only just got home, having spent a night in Bishops castle re-aquainting my body with alcohol after the detox on saturday ! Thanks to Chris and Alan for all the organising. I've been told I had a great time on friday night so Ill take your word for it, I certainly enjoyed the bits i can remember.
It was good to see some familiar faces and meet new people, glad to hear that all the first-timers enjoyed themselves and hope to see you again
That was going to be my last meet for this year but I'm considering Billing now.Its only the possibility of sitting shivering in a tent thats making me hesitate but hey, lets be positive !
So Thanks again everybody and hopefully see you again

Hiya!
Thanks Marynov...I knew I missed out on something! By the way, thanks for helping me out with some bits and bobs that I forgot to take, and of course, the cups of teas and hot chocolates!
Sooz, thanks for your cupas as well and your hospitality and to anyone else that I haven't mentioned - thanks for all your hospitality!
Sorry that I couldn't stay for the BBQ and sample some more of that 'pink stuff!' Hopefully, next time I'll be able to stay for the full weekend.
