hi rick,we are back home from bruces,cave cp i think the meet ends on monday the 16th if i were you i would phone the site up if you want to camp there you might be lucky.

Hi Rick,
There are some spaces at the moment (Friday night) but the meet ends on Sunday 16th - Graham (Papa Pip) may be stopping on a couple more days after; if you contact the site direct, they will be able to tell you whether they have space.
Sad to say, the weather has taken a distinct turn for the worse - there are quite a few puddles about now....

Just hoping it dries up again tomorrow so we can have another BBQ....

Torrential rain and very strong winds through the night; same this morning.....

.... from about 4.00pm started clearing, now (5.15) blue skies, a few clouds and hot sun!

No-one's risking BBQ tonight though, games night instead under gazebo behind the big house!

Hi Gram,

Decided in the end to drive straight home (just got in now). The camper was packed full of all sorts of goodies from the seller (happy days!) which meant there wasnt much room for me to sleep.

I tried posting on here from my mobile but work have blocked this site for some reason so no luck.

Hopefully both Suz and me will join you on a meet in the very near future.

Hi Rick,
glad to hear you got home alright - kept an eye out for you, but guessed (hoped) that you'd gone straight through when we didn't see you - rather that than you'd got a dud or something happened!

Good to hear you got some extras as well; they always come in useful.....
As to meets; we very rarely go - don't know why - too lazy?; but we go each year to this one at Bruce's, so perhaps hopefully see you next year?
There are plenty of meets all round, and all on here seem good folk - have a look at the gallery to see some of the other meets...
