Yes, I did find the 'axe' bit a little odd. As Jelboy points out, how do you cut up your wood/logs? And yes Auld Hugh has been there while the offending article is being used! He must 'trust' you and your guests more Jim!!
Also the bit about "dogs please take your owner walkies above the road after meals"! This really made me chuckle!

I was hoping to get up to the Squirrel last week, but the man flu scuppered that idea. I will make one or both of the holiday weekends in May and hopefully it will be a little warmer, as I don't have the campervan now
so will be back to the tent. I will also let Max take me for walkies..
I'm so impressed that you got a picture of the woodpecker! I could hear him in the trees last time but didn't manage to spot him. The stag pictures are great too.

Yep, had a great time. I was particularly pleased that I got the woodpecker and I like the way the stag turned out bracketed between the trees and Bidean in the background
