got my tickets etc today and i only posted the booking form off last weekend, how quick was that lol all packed and ready to go here

but i might need a bit of help as hubby has just had back surgery and cannot do anything for 3 months including putting tents up

If all my plans come together I should be there from between 12.00pm and 1.00pm on the Friday so I will certainly be available to lend a hand.  You'll have to look out for me and yell as I'll probably be a bit shy.  Also, I have mentioned before that I look naturally grumpy so don't let that put you off; I'm only grumpy 80% of the time.

thanks craig, you will spot me hubby on crutches (mine) me hobbling around, a very stroppy 10 year old, a 7 year old going on 15 and a very cute 2 year old. oh yeah plus a little black car with roof bars on lol. thanks for the offer all will be appreciated and its normally me do the helping. we plan to get there at around 12pm aswell well hopefully lol

Dear All

Following an emergency meeting held at the Elvaston Showground the organisers of Elvaston Steam Rally regret they have had to postpone this event on the grounds of Health and Safety due to the condition of the showground, car parks and camping areas due to the recent flooding.

The event has been provisionally rescheduled for the weekend of September 1 and 2 2007.

Further details will be posted when available and Pam will advise pre booked campers accordingly.
