Good News folks..my workmate has kindly moved his holidays forward 2 weeks and left Fri 18th of Sept free for me to book..So I have booked Thurs/Fri 17/18th off from work and will be able to join you early on the Friday..Just off the phone to the site...all booked up and paid for...Intrest from family wavering at mo...so Ive booked myself and the dog in a two man tent with Ehu..with the option of upgrading to a bigger tent if needed nearer the time..Lady says Im on ptich/ehu No9 so some of you now know you have Jelboy and Meg(the springer) for neighbours that w/end...LOL!! She has also laid aside pitches 10-11 for our use so we should have plenty of room...Re the organising of the meet(Keely aksed about it on another thread) I will be bringing at least one rod for a spot of fishing either Fri or Sat..and dont mind helping any youngsters that want to have a go..Not really in a supervisory capacity..But I'll be about to keep an eye on them if you so wish..Looking forward to the next few months of planning what to take(and where its all going to fit in the car etc)Still open to suggestions re structured/do your own thing during the day...But would like some sort of get together in the evening if poss...

OH was looking out a fishing rod last week - just in case and girls have been known to have a fish on the trout fishery near us (and actually enjoy it). May be a toss up between the horse riding near by and the fishing (I vote fishing as the other is ££££ - well fishing for them and horses for me ). Don't like bopping them on the head!!
Hi
I am new to all this, that is the group and how to post a reply on a forum. I have a couple of tents, camped a lot with my kids over the years but they have grown up and moved on, my mates don't camp and I want to.
I would like to come to the site at Pillaton as it is quite local.. . ummm how do I go about it?? Is there any space?
