Hi Halfwayinn

don't think any north west meets but maybe other areas if you don't mind travel long distance.  I may be headed back to Red Bank Farm again. All depends on if I have to work this weekend or not. Wont find out till later today or tomorrow!

Quite a few non posting members are to be found at red bank and its quite easy to locate just of the M6. also if you read other posts about it you will find that it is an OK place to go.

Oh and as its your 3rd post welcome to the UKCS forums. you do know you are now on the most addictive site on the web, don't you???

Hope you have a good Bank Holiday

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I've checked out the site you mentioned, looks great and not too far from us - there's just so many camp sites to choose from.  I guess this coming weekend is a camping must.

Yes I'm a newbie to this website.  Every year around this time I tend to go all giddy, buy some new equipment and head off every weekend to some remote field in the middle of nowhere - just wish my mates were a little more reliable but hey.  This year though I've got my girlfriend in tow (a camping newbie who has already asked about 'straightners'), she's also gone all giddy and can't wait for the weekend ahead.

Thanks again.

Unless you have a small tent I think you will find most camp sites booked up if you haven't already booked.

Bank holidays are always the worst and normally the price also increases.  this site has one price for the year which is great.

Thanks guys,  I'll keep my eyes peeled for any future meets.  We managed to book in at Coniston Hall in the Lake District this weekend, should be great fun and I just hope the weather holds off.

Cheers.
