This meet would be great for me and the kids but is anyone else going? It would be our first meet and its not too far from us - great as I am at work on the Friday and my son is still at school.
hello alison, thought id say hello as i just saw you were from north norfolk too, i am not used to this sight yet but just stumbled across the meet up and rallies. We used a tent for camping last year and really enjoyed it and this year we have bought a vw camper and we are looking forward to some more trips, we have a little boy whose 4 who loves camping and we are hoping to meet other families who enjoy camping too. We have never done a meetup before, where do we find the details of it?
We (OH, me & 10 year old son) have only just started camping. We spent the last bank holiday weekend (yes, THAT one) at Breydon Water and my son hated it!! Can't say I blame him as it was freezing cold and rained solidly for 3 days!!
I have registered interest in this meet as I would love to overcome his dislike of camping - it doesn't matter to me if it rains solidly, I'm cosy in my tent with a book and a glass of wine.
It would be great if I could find a few other people who are going so I can get him a little bit excited over meeting new friends etc. There's only SO many times I can tell him he's had a baptism of fire and from now on it can only get better! He's always wanted to go to Banham Zoo so that's a start!
My son is coming - he is 10. He might be a bit older than your daughter but he's very easy going and as long as your daughter can kick a football he's her new friend!)
Was thinking of coming but now just realised its our 39th wedding aniversary on the 13th, and we are also going to woodland lakes near Ancaster on the Saterday, for a BBQ with our local classic mini club .

------------- THERS ONLY ONE TEAM IN THE NORTH EAST ......... NEWCASTLE
Is anyone concerned about the weather for this meet or are most of you in tin-tents anyway? My sons one and only camp so far was over the last B/H weekend when it peed down all weekend and he hated it! OH has said he will never go again if the outlook is for rain.
