Is anyone else going to this meet? Not seen it listed on anyones signature. Its our first time and we're playing quite safe as its about 10 miles from home! But I'm dreading being the only one there! Especially as we're not sure what to expect.

Bloxham Our first ever meet!!
Would have gone or at least come and said hello but were in Somerset that weekend. Hope you have a great time. We enjoyed a day out last year to the show it was quite big. Lived in Banbury for nearly 30 years and never heard of it before then?!
We will be going, got a free pitch as my parents are on the commitee and in charge of the vintage entries and we will be showing one of my dads vintage bikes.
Well I'm so relieved we will not be on our own. I've been dreading that more than anything. Do you have children? We've got 2. A boy aged 6 and a girl who's nearly 3, but going on 30! My dad often used to show there too(bikes and tractors), but hasn't for a while, not sure why. He always attends though. Lets hope the weathers good or we'll be off home early!

I Hope to be going (not booked into the meet though) picking car up to display and tow rapido tomorrow not sure if Rapido is going on display or in the camping field yet though. Should be fun this will be our first ever caravan experiance.
Well what a weekend that was !!! abusolutly caped in mud !!! didnt get home till this morning !!
Yesterday even 4x4's were getting towed off the rally field's by tractor !!! Also an AA van got stuck and had to be towed out by a tractor ( which was quite funny, took piccies of it !!! ) told the AA that they should have rang the RAC !!!!!!
Last night while sat in my parents van my mum asked me what i had seen so i told her " mud, more mud and rain " !!!!
Next year i hope will be better weather,Even with the weather it was still a good turn out so i recommend it to any one !!
We had a great time too. Parked between 2 unsociable lots of people so didn't get to make friends! But we still had a great time. Kid's loved it. We left yesterday lunch time, under tractor power, which did not please the husband.
We also enjoyed it have been for the last five years first time ever camping so a real experiance ended up camping at the bottom of the public car park. Real shame as the organisers put in a lot of effort they still managed to keep smiling though
any way better go and try and clean off the mud and dry everything out

Maybe we'll see you next year!
Yes that would be nice, you will most likely find me at the motorbikes and cycles stand.
I like steam Rallies and been to two this year--Belvior Castle and Hollowell..
Belvior was just great...pitched in green field below and in sight of the castle..very well organised no anti social stuff there...very friendly & recommended..£38 camping and two day entrance for one adult and two kids.
Hollowell was ok, the site was on a heavy slope..wasn't prepd for that...and the view into the valley and lake below across to Ravensthorpe was lovely...but they insisted all the caravans parked "uphill" (Fire & Health & Safety)so the view could only be enjoyed from the rear window if you had one....to be fair the bloke did say I could turn round but by then I had the stays down. Camping was cheap ...few mins walk to rally..would do again as many good exhibits...vintage caravans in particular were good.
Anyone who wants to team up for future rallies....Holcot (northampton)(always a good one) and maybe Kettering (A14) junction at seasons end..just me and my boys 11 and 15.....
