What a fantastic few days. It was hot and sunny most every day. What a bargain holiday for up to 5 people at a cost of £30 for 5 days.
Brilliant entertainment, daytime and evening.
The Western shoot out was very good and not what I expected. And I have to say that everyone I met was very nice friendly and helpful.
I had a coffee made for me while I finished putting up my tent and 'extras' by a lovely lady in a caravan, everyone smiled and passed the time of day with others. And I do believe that there where a total of 40,000 people through the gates over the 5 days.
the evening entertainment venues had to close the doors once 2,000 had been allowed in.
I would have to say that I did only find 2 toilet blocks with 3/4 showers in each for the ladies. If that was the sum total I think it should be advertised as such and only two sink washing up places. If I do go again next year I will make sure I am camped a little nearer to these facilities, as I found that even people who had all the facilities in either their caravan or mobile home, they would often use the site ones as there was no EHU.
