Had a brilliant weekend, thanks.
Weather was kind, bit of rain in the night on Friday and on Saturday morning, then it dried out, and today was a scorcher. Think we have some photos somewhere to prove it. Caster is enjoying it so much they have stopped for another night.
The part of the site where we were pitched was sheltered, scenery stunning, great fun watching boats being launched on the beach at the bottom of the field. The dog enjoyed his walks along the beach.
On Saturday we went in to Caernarfon for son to see the castle as he's studying castles of that age at school. What a whopper it is.
It may have been a very small meet - just the two units - but we had a fantastic time. The approach road to the site wasn't as bad as I had feared and gave me no problems with the trailer tent, I reckon the caravan would have been ok after all..
What a shame more of you couldn't make it - you would have loved it.

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.

Well after pitching Thursday and sleeping through heavy rain all night julie and i went fishing friday afternoon while waiting for Caz to arrive, howling wind nearly blew us off trefor pier so we had and early tea and sat under our canopy until Caz, Alex and Jazz the dog arrived
What a great weekend we had, we sat up until 3-00 am putting the world to rights, (got it all sorted now) and a great night on Saturday courtesy of Caz's awning and parabolic heater, lovely and cosy, and what a charming young chap Alex is
Sunday greeted us with bright sunshine from 7-30 am, we just couldn't contemplate packing up in that weather so we arranged another night and lay back to sunbathe, a proper chill out day, just the four of us until it was time for Caz and Alex to start packing for their journey home, wel Caz mostly because the weekend left Alex exhausted, poor lad only got 12 hours sleep on friday and eight on Saturday, poor lamb
All in all a great weekend with great company, non the worse for the low turnout, certainly a site i will go to again, maybe for a week though because of the three hour drive, the weekend was a total success
Thanks Caz
