Hi guys, just a quick message to see if anybody who identifies as LGBT fancies meeting up in Cumbria for a good ol chat and get together. Will keep this short as I don't really expect to get many replies. I am a Gay male livng in the south lakes and find it hard to get anybody from the above sections of our community to go camping. They all seem to prefer 5***** with an en-suite. Please prove me wrong. Would be good to meet at weekends etc.

I know what you mean NookyBear - ive got a couple of gay friends whom i told about the Fisherground meet and told them they would enjoy it. Their response was lackluster to say the least. If it didnt include upping their carbon footprint by several maga-tonnes they just werent interested.

As already been said everyone is welcome at the meets regardless of sexuality so get yourself along.

I know there is a branch of the Camping and caravan club that caters for LGBT and there is also a Gay caravan club as well. Cant remember the url, but if you do a search it will show up.
