 just seen that the orchard campsite in suffolk is holding an alien weekend in september with free bbq, fancydress and a comunial campfire great for kids is anyone from here attending i have just booked my pitch £35 for the weekend cant go wrong with that

Just trying to persuade some friends that it will be good fun. They're moaning that the weather might be cold, wet or both, and that they'll be surrounded by weirdos! I really want to go though!

I'm going there for the first time on 27th july, a friend recommended it. I liked the look of it because it seems a laid back kind of site.

Yes I have been several times and I love it!  Laid back, easy going, lots of help on hand if you are new to camping and putting up a unit, campfires, no defined pitches, great atmosphere - you will love it

Booked it! Can't persuade aforementioned friends (outside of their comfort zone!) so have emailed details to some other happy campers to see if anyone else is interested.

We're travelling from Hitchin, Herts. Persuading OH to take the day off work so we can go straight from school on Friday night.

not sure you would have to give the orchards a ring i think it is booked but u never know they may be able to squeeze you in the more the merryer
