mmm, must have missed something there, we were away.
It was Mick being OTT, thought we hadn't paid and was constantly asking us how many people we had in our van. Everytime he went past the van he was always looking in the front window. Ok it's a big van but not that big lol. It just spoilt it for us. We're going on a seasonal anyway at the end of September cause of Dave's back so Cornwall will be our last tour for a while

As I was leading this meet, I would like to put the record straight.I Dianne told me she had been accused of not paying when she had. So I went to see the site manager. He told me there had been a mistake and he asked me to apologise to her. This is what had happened... When they arrived, the assistant ( a teenager) was in the reception. The manager was away. He took their money but didn't enter it on the computer. So the manager thought they hadn't paid. When the assitant came back, he put the record straight but - and it's a big but - he had undercharged them considerably. I guess he had charged them £10 instead of £17 for the extra nights they had stayed beyond our meet. The manager said as it was their fault and he would accept responsibility and not ask for the extra site fee. I immediately went to tell Dianne and her husband and I thought they were pleased with the outcome.
Sorry Bella but they have lied to you about the whole thing as the lad (who I don't think is a teenager as he has been working there for as long as we have been going) did enter all our details onto the computer (we stood there giving him the details as he entered them), how else would Mick have known how much we'd paid (it was wrote on the slip when he gave it to my hubby). It wasn't very nice to have him ask 3 different members of our party how many were in our van or having him staring in the van window everytime he went past. I didn't actually expect you to speak on our behalf to them, we were just saying how fed up we were with Mick's behaviour as we felt it was OTT. This experience has put us off going again, which is shame really as we do like the site. P.s he didn't charge us £10 a night, should have been £51 for the 3 extra nights but asked for £46 so they only lost a fiver

trekkar. we've been twice and i would recommend it. the toilets are spotless. the views and the sound of the waves are brill. no pub or shops on this site.
pub at the end of the lane that does nice food.
handy for brid, flamborough, skipsea and you can walk down the cliffs to hornsea.
when you stay at cliff top it qualifies you for the amenities at skirlington. swimming pool, pub, market, shops, laundry, etc.
be careful if you take any kids, the cliffs are steep.
