Well we normally go to Scarbrough but decided to go for a change this year and are booked to go to a site near Penrith. May live to regret it as the weather looks to be better in Scarbrough
So where ya'all off to for this August Bank Holiday weekend
aint gorrer clue yet, gonna see what will be will be,but gonna go somewhere we hope
------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.
Pete.
were going to argarden. its got great facilities, lovely, friendly owner and definately quiet by 11pm. good on site entertainment, wifi, sky tv,dvd etc. plenty of room for tent and canopy, garage for car etc.perfect!!!!
with beautiful landscaped features. a log cabin(kids play shed) 2 water features (garden pond and bucket) small play area with swings, slide and trampoline.its also free of charge.
sorry oops, its my back garden. i cant stand going bank holidays as we have had a few bad experiences with the bank holiday only campers! i also have an over crowding phobia, cant cope when places are busy(anywhere/anytime) so we went last weekend instead (fri-mon) and said we will put tent up to clean it ready for next season and have a few nights out to make up for not going anywhere.
but we are camping and all the equipment will be out. cant wait. and girls love it. get weird looks from neighbours though. but who cares. we enjoy the outdoor life.
Was gonna go to "Run To The Hills" near me, in Debyshire - VW show.
But glad I didn't now, as my T25 "Diggory" still needs a lot of TLC and think he would show himself up, after seeing some of the lush splitties coming from the show!
Went to my favourite garage though - and underneath a lot better than I expected.
Actually waiting for AFTER the bank holiday ( traffic! = running in bus) and going up to Cayton Bay. See how it goes - booked in for four nights - if okay - will extend and go up to Runswick bay. Both great doggie beaches - ie they let dogs on in the Summer months - not like some I could say in Cornwall Devon pfffff! lol
Apparentely surf as good Yorkshire east coast too - not that Im a surfer lmao!
