Sorry about the delay in posting any info for half term holiday weekend (oct 31-nov 2).

truth is I cannot find a suitable site that caters for both tents and caravans that is :- hooked up,decent toilet block, not already booked or reasonably priced. lots also seem to close at the end of september...what a waste. best I've seen to date is Hill farm Romsey.

I will keep looking perhaps somebody else knows of a good all round site in or near the new forest?

I hope Liam & I can make this one. Hill Farm was the site I took Liam on his first camping trip about 7/8 yrs ago. It was a small, clean and seemed to be well run site. The only disadvantage was it was quite remote not any thing near by but otherwise very nice.

Glad you all had a good time at Oxford.

thx Lyn , I have left messages at both Red deer and Hill farm just waiting for them to get back with availability and prices. Looking on the internet there is loads to do in the area if you are prepared to drive 20 minutes or so. As soon as it is booked I will start putting together an ideas brochure.

I was confused Almo because you said in an earlier message you were going over to the south east forum for a look so I thought I must have missed something as Bletchingdon comes under central. But anyway thanks for clearing that up.
