We enjoyed the show, I wish there had been electric hook up though, it was cold on Saturday night. Having said that Sunday was glorious weather.

There were quite a few bargains to be had, we bought quite a few "must haves". Also spoke to one or two people there who we already knew from the small motorhome website, John and Wendy and Steve and Denise.

We saw your van Tick59 but didn't have chance to say hello as every time we went past you were out.

Well I enjoyed it - my first with UKCS.  I loved the bunch of daffs I received on arrival.  I didn't know anyone before I went and I still don't!!  But to be fair, the weather wasn't too good and I was on my own.  I did speak to a couple of passers-by but it was too cold for anyone to linger.  I really enjoyed the stalls and picked up some bargains and joined the CCC at a reduced rate.  All in all it was good, glad I went. Thanks to all who organised it.

Hi all! Well we thoroughly enjoyed (and survived) our first outing without EHU. We both enjoyed the show and picked up the odd bargain!
Twas a bit chilly and windy at times, and short of knocking on van doors we didn't see many sporting UKCS signs.
We did meet - Tick59, Silverwood, chap next to us that was from Scotland (sorry, don't know your name)managed a quick Hi to Bobsbabes, and a wave to a couple of others.
One of our tyres shredded on the way back
, typically - not one of the 2 that were getting down on tread - so need to source a new set this week before we're off again.
Best wishes to all - and hope to meet some more of you!
Lesley & David

We had a great time and thought the entertainment was fantastic! We only saw a couple of ukcs posters and to be honest wondered if we were in the right bit as there weren't many on our patch and we are a bit shy ............! However, I think weather was against us a bit on Saturday. We were really pleased with our new caravan and getting all the bits and pieces working properly for the first time without electric hook-up was great. Bought a few more bits and bobs and thought there were a few bargains to be had.  I was amazed at how many of the really massive motor homes were there parked up on the airstrip! Will certainly go again next year.

Hi again guys

Although we enjoyed it, and yes it was cold, I agree with Trucker74, if the weather had been better people would have been sat outside and that's when people start chatting, to Big Brian, I forgot to put we were with the ukcamp and we rang a couple of days beforehand to ask if we could be sited with them, we were told there was no space.  On arrival the steward told us to ask in the cabin, again we were told no space, the steward then took us to our pitch near the entertainment complex, and then on Sunday morning we found out that we were amongst the ukcampsites...Never mind still had a nice time.

Hi, I totally agree with Andrea, everyone is keen to meet up, i'm sure. But everone was either keeping warm or looking round the show, but the un-written rules are you can either chat or not, keep to yourself or not, we are a free spirits in the UKcampsite, and have no marshals, set plans or anything else for that matter. You just turn up and do your own thing!
