Anybody thinking of going to the caravan show at the NEC Feb 09? Hows about a meet at the show, on a certain day, at a certain time, at a certain place. Just a thought. Any ideas?

How far is "nearby"?  Lots of reasonable sites around Warwick/Southam but not sure which are open in February.

Will do a bit of detective work!

The Compass Owners Club uses the Marston Caravan & Camping Park.Kingsbury Rd. Marston B76 0DP.for their NEC Rally. We use the back road into the NEC, takes about 15 mins.to get into the car park.Full facilities cost us £12 per night.

Harbury Fields Farm has some good reviews (although have not been there yet myself) and is not far from the M40 which makes it reasonably accesible from the NEC.

Mmm we are thinking about going down on the Fri and Sat evening at the caravan Club site. Does anyone use that site? is there alternative sites? But at the end of the day always happy to meet up for a chat or and a beer or two.

MMM on second thoughts have worked it out it will cost us over 120 quid for 2 nights with fuel. Thats without us putting our hands in our pockets for the show and refreshements etc so will have to decline. We could have nearly 4 weekends away for that. Have fun! X

We will be going all day Thursday and take all our refreshments with us ,(the price of food there is extortionate) We make a whole day of it.but would change our day to meet anybody who wants a meet in the NEC, bit early in the year to camp for the weekend for our old bones.
