What a great week we had!!

Highlight has to be SJ playing Musical Chairs; I nearly wet myself laughing when she fell backwards on the chair in slow motion. Poor Sarah!

Thanks to Terry & Lynn for the use of the frame tent as the entertainment central and thanks to everyone for the buffet food and contributions to the New Year's Day roast dinner.

Paul & Hil deserve special thanks too for bringing Jan & Mart & Buster so that we could spend New Year with friends together.

I think I've finally removed the smell of the firepit from everything!

Oh and Dean, we had to be towed off the field by Godfrey after he saw what you did to his grass as you left. MR WASSELL, YOU'LL GET DONE FOR THAT NEXT TIME!!! lol

Hope that Sarah, Cliff and family enjoyed themselves at their first meet.

hahaha!!    i said i'd never do it - camping at new year!! lol

first night i said i'd never do it again - BUT, it was fantastic, and i think i was warmer there than when i came home to my cold quiet house!!!!!!

i think we all had a great time, and as for paul fetching jan, mart & buster - thats what friends are for, could not have left them at home!!

really enjoyed our communal dinner on new years day, but then again enjoyed every day. only downside for me was the bloody fish and chips were crap in cleggy LOL

just one other thing now - got to decide where we going next year, so we can have a re-run of sarah falling over cos i bloody missed it

hope we all meet up again soon

hil

Unfortunately we were a lot more restricted than we expected to be because the temperatures were a lot lower than the forcast we saw, we would have loved to have been able to get out and socialise more, sorry if we seemed unsociable but we really didnt want to be, special thanks to you all for everything but extra special thanks to Paul for the loan of the sat nav to Asda, Jason & Tal for the help with the erection of the awning, Lin for the extra heating, comfort blanket and New year hat, Tel for not telling the kids he isn't really Santa, Julie for being so merry as soon as we both met you new years eve, Dean for the encouragement to drink and the help folding the camper away, everyone for the effort and smoothness that the new year eatings took place and a special thanks to Chiara for spending so much time with Jack and the girls, i don't think he has ever enjoyed a holiday so much because of your company, finaly, thanks to everyone for trying to make us feel welcome, sorry we couldn't participate more,

Sorry if i missed anyone you were all ace ;)

Best wishes

Cliff & the tribe

Sorry this is a message from Lynne aka Pixie - moral - always check that Tel has signed off your computer when he leaves it!!!! below is a message from Pixie not Tel (as he does not have wings)

I have finally got Matilda nearly sorted! the tent is in the conservatory drying out and I can still smell the bonfire with its fond memories, the house stinks!!!!!! lovely!

Happy days one and all and Stu congratulations to your Aunt (?) on her MBE (too much drinking games to recall precise details) but well impressed and I do hope your Mum gets a good hat for their day at the Palace.

The kids were great and your little one following 'Santa' about was a treat (btw he is Santa but only on 24 December the rest of the year he is Tel) and he was on holiday but enjoyed sharing his tea with the little ones.

I have spent some recent new years with 'pretend' mates in the Army but this was spend amongst proper mates with memories that will last forever.... Hil your face as you swigged my neat rum is a picture that will last for a long time!!!

Thanks everyone for letting me join in the fun

Yes Fairies can get naughty and drink champagne from bottles and no we are not necessarily mad - just a bit odd!!!! thanks for that observation!  Oh yes and Fairies can be Grandma's too.

<FONT color=#ff00ff>

Love to you all and hope to meet up again when the weather is just a few degrees warmer!!!

Pixie's gone home look, and I still get into trouble!

Anyway, it's her own fault, she didn't sign me pink chit that allows me to think, so I didn't think to log out on her computer!

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

Thanks for a lovely time everyone and a happy New Year to one and all.
