Thanks for coming everyone and making it an extremely fun weekend!!!!
I don't feel that you guys are camping "buddies" any more but firm FRIENDS, we couldn't have asked to meet a nicer bunch of people......

Highlights for me were....

> Lil and myself finding more firewood and "creeping" back to the group to scare them with a 15 foot branch and a lighthouse beacon pretending to be Harry Potter!!!

> Nic's face when she was introduced to my little friend on the beach

> playing "king of the jungle" and listening to merv's impression of a cockerel as well as Annes (foster mums) impression of a tiger ......GGGRRRRRRR!

> Nathan falling A over T trying to break a piece of firewood....

> Trying to inflate a blow up tent with an electric pump for about an hour and then realising that it only needed 2 puffs from a hand pump!!!!

> Seeing how genuinely everyone got on and enjoyed themselves...

Thanks from me too - what a great weekend (even having to wait 2 hours for the RAC to turn up - at least I got a bit longer than expected in the sunshine!!). Just missed out on the birthday cake though, didn't I!!!

Thanks to Andy for organising it and it was really great to meet you all.

Ben is still talking about his new friends and looking forward to the next meet.

Hope your little 'friend' is OK Andy - had any more babies???

Well, we have not yet confirmed the location but we may be joining you at the orchard..... I need to get input from the other members of the gang..... Nathan may be providing us with a scout mess tent to use as an XL communal area in the evenings (and daytime if weather isn't kind!) which may need its own pitch depending on where we are going. another possibility is Clippesby or back to Deers Glade????

OOh, any of those sound great - especally The Orchard and the mess tent - we could all chip in to pay for the extra pitch if necessary. I'm booked in at The Orchard for 3 nights - Sunday 25th October, Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th.

I've put them on the computer but am a right 'ol technophobe so don't know how to put them on here.... I did open a photobucket account before but still had loads of trouble doing it
