Hallo. We are senior citizen couple who come from West Sussex, looking to meet like minded caravanners for occasional meets.Cash strapped as most, but like quiet sites, love cooking, talking, wine drinking,countryside and good company. Any ideas. Think we might be uncomfortabl;e with lots of young children on general meets. (Even though we have loads of granchildren) WOULD LIKE A SENIOR MEET. aRE THERE SUCH THINGS?

Have you thought of organising one. Find a site that will allow you a few pitches together and post up details on here. Just post up what your after. There are single parent meets, gay meets, tent only meets so why not a senior meet.

OH has just retired and I am coming up to the big 60 in November. Sounds a good idea, nice for the oldies to get together sometimes.

Just suggested in another thread about organising a meet in nothing suits.

Find a site that take your fancy, book a pitch and post up the dates and see if anyone would like to join you.

If you book outside the school holidays, and during weekdays, then the chances of bumping into lots of children will be greatly reduced.

Thanks to all who replied about Senior Meets. Have only just got back from wet Wales and are now off to hopefully sunnier Devon till October but will give all ideas lots thought during Winter and try and organise something for Spring. Cheers
