I'm new to camping (Tent) and wanted to know if I had to join any club to get invited to meets or can I just hear on the grape vine and turn up?

You will find the list of meets here click on the region that you are interested in to see if there is a meet you fancy, the 1st page will normally tell you how to book, normally just by posting your user name, unit type and number of adults, kids and dogs.

Some meets you pay on arrival, others you pay the sites direct, but each host will give full details on the thread.

You do not have to be invited, and have already joined as you are a member of UKCS.

There are pitches left at the site.
Give them a ring and tell them you are with the UKCS lot and then post on the thread and let us all know you have booked in (and your booking name)
