Dont know Paul, the only place I'm going is to work at 8.15pm tonight. Worse luck.
Lucky people who got away this weekend with the weather being nice.
We were in Castlewellan with the CCC last weekend and it was good. Wont get out again in the caravan until middle of April, as we are going to France for a weeks skiing, next Saturday.
Have looked the list, of this year's meets, for the three DA'S that are in N.I and there is not one in that direction, this weekend.
Might be CC but could just be that there are a lot of people making the most of the weekend.
Maybe someone else on here might know.
When are you first out and to where?
Hi Jeff and Sharon, going to Delamont next w/end. I'm actually going to go down on Thursday on my own with my dog, Pat and Rebecca will come down Friday. Did I mention I'm off all week!
Haven't seen the weather forecast yet. No doubt after the recent good spell it will rain all week.
No matter what the weather will be like you are not at home, so have a good time anyway. We are hoping for loads of snow, as if we havent seen enough this year already.
Quite a lot heading in the North Coast direction as well. Don't know where they were going either. Didn't see too many vans on sites over the weekend.
Maybe it was the opening meet for the travelling community at Drum Manor
Jeff and Sharon - enjoy the skiing and the apres ski as well.
We're caravanning for 10 days from Friday - Clare Glen with the CCC for a few days - Gosford (for a change of scenery lol) for another 3 days and then on to Rushin House for Easter.
Hi Wilfy,
No doubt will be in touch with you know who during the week, but have a good time on your travels.
Am a bit "fuzzy" (more then usual) had two killer night shifts, only managed four hours sleep between the two, so it will be a day or two before I am in the land of the living.
just back from a CC rally at Ulster Folk Park at Omagh, thats probably were all the vans were heading. The weather was great, with 44 vans tucked into the car park.
This was our 1st rally without EHU and we survived...lol,gas ran out during the night and went to sleep with the radio on ...low bat this morning.
Still a good w/end
Hi Stevie, thats what it was then. I was coming the opposite way in my lorry. All you lucky people able to get away early on a Friday. I was slightly jealous.
Talking of batteries had my van plugged in to the house mains on Sunday to give it a boost and the battery isnt looking too healthy. Not taking the charge properly, only half charged. will plug in again today to see what happens.
