Thanks to all the organisers for another fabulous weekend at Elvaston. We all really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next one. Bit knackered looking after the grandkids, but they were no trouble at all and ran around and played very happily for hours between ours and their great grannies caravan next door and then slept like logs all night!! Brilliant!! Weren't we lucky with the weather too.... Hope it lasts! Teresa

It was our first time at the rally and what a time we had,meeting lots of new faces and making some new friends. The weather couldn't have been any better and we are so looking forward to it next year. Thnx everybody who we spoke to in making us feel so welcome and if we didn't manage to get to speak to u there is always next year

It was my first time too and I loved it - I just hope nobody thought I was being 'ant-social' by pitching at the far side of the generator field. I tend to like my own space and don't like to be too 'hemmed in', but mainly it was so there was plenty of shade for my dogs when they were in the back of the van. I did get chatting to a few members though, and hopefully next year I'll chat to a few more. Think I'll get one of those sunstrip things made for the top of my front windscreen, with my name on, then people will know who I am as I drive in! lol

Thank you to EVERYONE who has taken the time and trouble to comment and thank us for organising the event.
On the weekend it's all down to the hard work of the UKCS stewards who do an absolutely magnificent job of siting everyone and booking you all in. This year, in particular, with the start of the new system things could have been challenging but they rose to the task superbly and it went very smoothly.
We were particularly pleased as the new system seemed much harder to "fiddle" and gate money for the camping was well up on previous years. I'll let you all know in due course what money will be given to which charities.
Thank you once again for your support and hopefully will see you next year.
