It comes with great regret but of no surprise but due to the poor weather conditions,
this years visit to Eden Camp has been cancelled

Sorry its not going ahead but to be very honest the weather is the only factor in this even being cancelled. The snow in the North East has been relentless and the road from york which most would use has been closed on and off all week

Its a shame it has too be cancelled but I think we all knew it was on the cards. In Hull we've got nothing like the amount of snow thats on higher ground, but I can't see it melting any time soon. Thanks to Clairemc and Marquey for all the work I know they have already put into the meet.  Thats what makes it such a memorable meet.

I'd better start on the scotch eggs now.

It's real shame and hope you and claire can reschedule it for another time but as mentioned earlier I think a lot of people would not have been able to make it anyway . Like to wish all our friends we wont see now a happy christmas and a great new year .

Oh Bumpers, was looking forward to meet but its mixed blessings in our case as her outdoors has taken the week off for me to complete m.o.t. work on my old van (which i started in Sept) and is still in a jacked up wheel less & brakeless state, and surrounded by 18" of snow, then there is the camping trailer & beyond that is our chuffing caravan, the worst thing is we`ve since bought a 4 x 4 for towing and would certainly have been a good test run.
        If you reschedule for a spring meet at Eden can you put us on list or if Eden Camp has a fully kitted out hut with bunks for us all, we`l have our own "I`m a camper get me out of here" event. All the very best to all & hope to see you in the near future.

Was really looking forward to this meet - however we would of had to cancel anyway as there isn't a cat in hell's chance that we would be able to get the van out of the storage . 

If the meet is rescheduled for another time we would love to attend
