Hello there my husband and I retired in 08 and spend most of our time in the van we have been to some realy lovely places in this country we would like to meet with other retired people,we worked together for over 20 yrs and formed some great relationships but now we are moving about its a little difficult is there anyone out there in the same possition?
We are. I took early retirement just over five years back and my wife around two years ago. You will see from our list below that we are out and about quite a bit. When not on tour inland, walking the hills and dales, we come home to the Seaside, living about ten minutes walk from the beach. Not a bad arrangement!

Hi there
My husband retired last year and I am retiring on 13th april, we have lots of holidays planned but the main one is 7 weeks away in France and Spain we cant wait. Let us know where you are going and if we are around we could meet and have a chat.
Hi no your situation well We are recently retired spend last 30yrs caravanning at w/e mainly with rallies. I have lost touch with friends over last few years after I got divorced. Now I am with Dave and he likes caravanning just as much as me we go caravanning as much as we can but meeting friends in our situation is very hard.
Now we please ourselfs mainly going midweek all over uk, next year we are hoping to go to France for 3 or 4 weeks it would be great if we had someone to go with.
We have just come home on Sunday after over 9 weeks camping and will restarting on the 7th Sept. Thought we had best leave some pitches for the families We have no got a Pennine Fiesta and rarely put the awning up and just use the smaller unit as it is as big as some caravan anyway we have plenty of room. We love it and if we could we would be away all the time except its cold in winter under canvas for us. My Bob just turned 75 on June 27th & I and half way through 67 as I have said before they will take me away from a site in a coffin before I give up.So if you see on your journeys to cuddly over size not yet too wrinkly bombing about me in my wheelchair and my oh either pushing me or trying to catch me up ....Get the kettle on we will be there
