Hi Ria, Filey is lovely isnt it? We are new to caravanning and live in Hull. We joined the Camping and Caravanning Club and are hoping to get to some of their weekend meets and temporary holiday sites over the summer. I think there is one at Filey, and with them it is so cheap - some are £5 - 6 a night!

I hope you have a wonderful summer with your daughter, and lots of fun and rest too.

Samantha

Hi Ria, we are camping in Filey in August at Blue Dolphin (Haven Site). Celebrating OH 40th birthday. I cant wait to go now. Already had 1 camp this year and didnt want to come back. I just love it, and to be honest I dont even care what the weather is like.

Hope to see you around

It looks like north yorkshire will be our area of choice too. We going to Reighton Sands on August bank holiday plus any other weekend we can squeezy in until then.

I have a 4 year old too and so far we have failed to entertain her and the dog as we put the tent up. Mind you, the threat of not being able to join in with the kids club might work

Bridlington for us in September on the new CC site, we also love Filey and all the little villages around the area, we are planning to take our 4yr old grandaughter onto the Flower of May site for easter next year, were still getting her used to sleeping in the caravan away from her Mum and Dad for a few days, shes fine whilst its on the Drive with us camped out with her, but the next step is going to be a few nights away locally, then if that goes ok, Filey here we come with her lol!

Hi Ria, we stayed at Reighton Sands once but it was too windy for my tent, our favourite site is Flower of May, hoping to be there next weekend for our first camp of the year, dont usually leave it this late so really looking forward to it and keeping everything crossed
