So here it is folks - the long awaited first North Wales UK Camp Site meet. OK so it's only a few hundred yards over the border but its a start
The details are here
Some of us are already familiar with this little gem of a site - fishing (specially for you & Kev T, Breezy), pub/restaurant, indoor & outdoor childrens play areas. The food in the pub is highly recommended, as is the Guiness. And my kids recommend the play areas. There's also plenty of space on the site for ball games if the adults want to play as well.
The meet falls on the second weekend of the childrens half term holidays - the weekend after Spring Bank Holiday - so why not make a week of it. We have negotiated a special meet rate of just £8 inc EHU (£6.50 without) but its only £10 per night with EHU for the other nights.
There are plenty of attractions to visit within the area as it is Shropshire's own Lake District (yes I know I said it's in North Wales but the lakes - or Meres as they are known - are all my side of the Border. The town of Ellesmere is a couple of miles away, the historic market town of Oswestry with its Iron Age hill fort is 15 mins drive and Wrexham & Shrewsbury are about half an hour away.
We need to give the site final details of the bookings on 30th April and pitches are limited so get registered now!!!!!!
STOP PRESS 27th May - Still a few pitches available, book direct with site on 01978 710743

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.

Hi Caz
We'll get the calendar out and see if we can make it.
Just two questions
1) Will we get stuck in the mud?
2) Can you arrange for some sunshine?
