went to Tregarton Park last September.  nearer to Mevagissy than St. Austell. it's about 10 miles from St. Austell down country lanes.   very quiet site need to travel to local pubs, restaurants etc by car. I said quiet  that is if there is no hurrican type winds blowing as happened to us last year.  very good facilites, toilets, showers, washing machines etc.  shop on site but almost closed in 1st week in Sept. also pool, also closed for season but as previously said the weather was not conducive to using the swimming pool

Hello everybody

We are having a couple of meets this year. One at Arundel in July and another in September near Wisbech (No hook ups left). All details are on the South East and East Anglia board under my name. We have had several meets in the past and have always had a laugh, so if you are prepared to travel a bit we would be delighted to see you.

Hi Chris, Bill and I have had two trips in our Camplet now and still trying to get to grips with everything. We bought a second hand Royal with an extra side pod and sun canopy but we haven't got around to adding them on yet, I am new to camping and still need to work out what are the important things to remember and what is excess!  We live in the Forest of Dean and are in our 50's (me) and 60's. We are passionate about our Camplet and will be down at The Healing Festival at Secret World in Highbridge in early July. There is not a lot of work surface in our Camplet either, we are trying different ways to inprove it, we seem to get on great until we try to cook something then it all goes pear shaped! There are a lot of lovely camp sites in the Forest if you ever fancy coming up this way!

The Hurricane type winds were indeed just that. An unseasonal storm that had rushed in from the Atlantic. Believe me its not normally like that at Tregarton. Oh and the route to the site is on normal B roads, Not country lanes.
