inspite of poor reviews we have always been satisfied with the sites-- go when the cheap offers are on--not school hols-& we have payed as little as £6-50 for a super pitch
we are thinking of going again next year when the offers are on & wonderd if anyone would like to join us for a Mini meet----

I've only just joined the forum so I'm feeling my way around but thought about this for next year. 

Our son has just become full time carer for his three boys so we're looking at the possibility of us taking the caravan and him renting a chalet or something.  That way at least nanna and grandad can help with the child care but have an escape route for a bit of quiet time if we need it. 17

hi jill & welcome we love haven out of season but i have been told it gets pretty hectic & less well kept in peak times & of course the prices are very high it could be an expensive break i have never taken children to haven but there are others on this site who have posted about holiday at haven & offers for families -- perhapes a search for "haven" on this site would bring up postings fom earlier this year-- Tolly

Bit early in the year maybe for some, but I saw 4 nights in their site near Filey for £20 a few days ago. Was a few around the £20-24 mark, but think they were standard (no elec) pitches. Think the other low priced ones were in Lincs and Norfolk.
