Weather forecast still looking good, but cold. It's blowing hard and lashing with rain here today and my thumbs were numb with checking the tyre pressures in the cold and wet. One bag of wood now in the boot.
I'm popping over to Oban on Friday as a couple who have been friends of the family all my life have gone there for a few days. As they live a long way off we rarely see them so I said I'd say hello but I'll be back in the afternoon. Just debating whether to take them up Loch Etive on a boat trip. We've done it before and you can't beat it if the weather's good. It's the first time they've been to the area. In fact, I don't think they've been north of the border more than once or twice.
Thebiz - that stew smells gorgeous all the way over here!
Wish i was there for the Chicken and Chorizo, think I can also smell it mmmmm...
Hopefully we can leave early Friday now be there about 12.00 but nothing goes to plan usually so we'll be there at some point x
Hoping for some good starry skies, shooting stars etc as well as a good crisp autumn walk ( although wanted a good walk last time, but stayed in bed instead lol)
------------- I'm working class, I do what I have to do, to get by.
Must admit I took a second glance at the firework counter in Morrisons today......oooh, I do like a silver fountain ! However, being frog marched off the site by Hugh isn't how I want the weekend to go

Hi dead squirrelers!! Just managed to get a spot of WiFi to catch up. You have it all down to a tee! Dead peed that we are not there. Having to put up with 28 degrees during the day and 19 degrees through the night! Its hard going so it is.
Hopefully Jim will have a wee November or January meet that we will get to. Mind and raise that glass for noname on Saturday as you sit round the fire!!
Cheers everyone x

Well, I've just packed a few things in the boot of the car but now the boot won't open again! So it looks as if I'll have to get in behind the back seats to get my stuff out tomorrow!
That oven looks the business Jim...Look forward to a few bridies out of it in the future.....
