Hi Bud,

Give it a try. Pick a local (ish) weekend meet and you are virtually guaranteed a great time. Everyone is friendly and if you wish to join in there is usually activities arranged for all ages.

Our first meet was new year @ Wrenbury. We had a brilliant time and despite the weather on new years day we had a BBQ and other nibbles, the kids had a treasure hunt, everyone was wet and cold but we all loved every minute of it !!!

Its a good way to make new friends and after tasting one meet you may find yourself and family booking on others.

If you dont like it then you've only wasted a weekend. Thats no great shakes is it ???

So, GO FOR IT !!!!

We went on our first meet last Autumn, we had a great time and went on the Bonfire Bash - everyone was fantastically helpful and either did their own thing or got stuck in.  Despite being obvious newbies, we were never made to feel numb!  well not to our faces lol!!

We were even helped out with the BBQ as we didnt have one - Cheers Tango

Our kids loved the outing they are 14 and 6, so no easy task.  Omega arranged a fantastic meet at Little Budworthh our first.

Highly recommended, so go on test the water you'll soon get the bug

Bernie

I've seen the photos. surely that should read " The meets are great. You meet so many werid and weirder people."

Therefore, accordingly I've signed up  for the end of May......
