As a keen angler , and having met a few other users of this site that like the relaxation/excitement of fishing, is it not about time a fishing weekend was arranged? I believe that there is a very good site in Herofordshire that has superb fishing along with super walks and lots of local attractions.

Would anyone care for a spot of caravaning/fishing to be organised? could be fun, competitive, or even both?

The North Notts Meet at Trentfield Farm has access to the Trent and also a 57 peg carp lake close by. I was thinking of asking John to try and organise a match maybe for the Sat'day morning?

Once again...a good idea for a themed w/end...Problem is...Like everyone else with a similar hobby or intrest...We are all spread too thin on the ground...to make it feisable for everyone to attend....But hope anyone who can manage enjoys it...And to make the w/end extra special...I reckon(for the 1st time in UKCS Meets history)we would have be selective...and ban wives and kids for this one...One thing an angler dont need on a w/ends fishing is distractions
