Hello All

I am organising a meet up for about 30 motorhomes for May. Its going to have a Music theme so people will bring guitars etc and want to get together, have a beer and play.

We are hoping to hold it somewhere in the north. Ideally Yorkshire or maybe even the Lake district but we are pretty flexible.

What we need is a camping field with a meeting area be it a barn, pavilion or even a pub attached where we will be able to get together and make some music.

We do have use of a Scout tent if need be so we could always errect that but if we can find somewhere with a room and maybe even power all the better.

Any suggestions?

It's not in the area you want as it's in Lincolnshire but you could try Folly Field near Goole.

The site has a large rally field and a very large garage that Rob, the owner, allows rallies to use and it has been used for wedding receptions. The garage is huge and normally houses a large classic car collection. Rob is a musician and often has musical get togethers in the garage. I wouldn't email him though as the email address listed on here doesn't work.

Hope you manage to find somewhere.

There used to be a site (field?) behind a pub somwhere in Co. Durham which was free but no idea if this is still the case. Someone might remember it. Strathmore Arms springs to mind.

We had used one at High bentham north west Yorkshire its a farm with a great barn ideal for what you want.

the site is Lother farm there is a rally field 9 hook ups in main park basic facilities town not too far away
