I'll keep an eye on the "thread", be interesting to see fblueziggy's comments on the site re ancient Briton. I telephoned and they said they're taking bookings, but it was hard to find out any further info? Quoted £5 p.p.n for tents + £5 p.n lekkie?

We are also keeping an eye on this topic as we will be touring south and mid Wales in June.

Haven't booked anywhere yet but we will be seeing friends on the Gower and Llanelli. The rest of the area is up for grabs but we expect to be 5 days in the Llanelli area and 3 days in on the west coast.

Then it will be on to Anglesey before a slow trip back north.

Lobey, where are you staying on the Gower. I'm often to be found on Cefn Bryn (Highest point on the Gower) sitting in the car playing radio, Blue Xtrail with various antennae sprouting from the roof.

MrBlue, Did anything ever come of the proposal to open a site at Margam Park ??

Well we think we will probably pick a site near Llanelli or between there and the Gower and that would give us a good place for exploring the south west corner.
The folks we know are at Scurlage.

Looks good, shame they don't know their own prices? I also have and use a T/T when asked how do I calculate it ie do I have to pay for an awning as the extension is part of it all? Was told "pitch up, and we'll see?" Which could work out as £15 a night?
Still planning to get away 1st weekend May.

Hi all
went to the Ancient Briton today (sat 12th/4/14) seen the owner who showed me around wc/shower blocks new and spotless they can take 41 pitches not all electric. They had been erecting new hardstandings this afternoon which is work in progress. A warm welcome was given by the owner who told me that they a new site but improving all the time. Its a site we will use in future the pub was fairly full even on a Saturday afternoon.
Prices I was quoted was-
pitch 2 person and unit £12
elec £5
extra adult £5
dogs £1
not sure children £?
