Well I've been back this weekend- as have Allan and Tommy. Didn't see much of them though, even though we were pitched next to them. Had a very different weekend from last one.
We left the caravan and paid £7.50 for a weeks storage, which I reckoned was good value for money, because we knew we had to be down in Edinburgh this weekend.
I left work at around 4.30 on Friday, hit the road before 5 and got to Witches just after 7. Set-up, had a barbecue as it was John's birthday. Then to bed. On Saturday we had to be at the Zoo for 10, so left the campsite around 8.45, already breakfasted and showered. Spent the day at the zoo for my nieces birthday, then back to Witches for a lightning change of clothes, then off to Perth, picked Kirsty up from the train, then out for a meal for my brother-in-laws birthday. Service for the meal was dire, so we didn't get back to Witches until 11.15 pm.
Finally today breakfast, pack-up and off-site by 8.15, as John was piping at the Aberdeen Highland Games. Spent the day after we got home and unhitched running about between the games, picking up Kirsty, and getting a paddling pool set-up for Heather and Brodie.
Who on earth had the idea of celebrating three birthdays on the same weekend?
