Thanks, I was looking at the Sunny Lyn, they didn't have much on their website. I sent them an email, their reply, gave £7.75 without electric plus car. Electric is always a bonus but can I live without it for a few nights. A decently maintained hot shower/toilets and dish washing facilities are what I generally look for and if I cant park next to tent pitch, how far away car parking is as I don't fancy lugging my tent, etc. too far. Proximity to local facilities would be helpful.

Their EHU pitches (10A) are 4.5m x 4.5m. They're giving us two of them so we can fit our full outfit on. Apparently we can get the car close enough to inflate the tent using the electric pump, so a few yards, but then we'll need to move it. Worth phoning them I'd think. Should be able to get more info and some pics on here for you Sunday.
OK here are some pics. You can get the car pretty close - especially if you ask for a pitch by the track. Facilities are dated but well looked after. Dish wash is under a lean-to roof plus another indoors. EHU pitches are down at the end (where the big tents are in the pics).
Oh, and it's a half mile walk into Lynton. There's a useful Costcutter and loads of little eateries etc. Pub at the bottom of the site is meant to be good but haven't tried it yet.
Thanks for the info and photo's much appreciated. Have just booked my pitch at £8 per night, they are going to try an get me one close to the edge where cars are parked. It seems they are trying to sell the park. If the new owners in place, hope they are as friendly as current owners sound. I'll update on my return.
