Hey mate. Am based in the Lakes. Been solo camping a couple of times. Would be good to do a meet up. Am going on Monday and Tuesday night. Don't know where yet though.
I'm based down in London, but open to traveling and doing some wild camping. Have yet to wild camp in the UK, but plenty of wild camping experience back in the U.S. Please shoot me a message if interested.
soon as i get a smaller tent i may join you. i got all the gear. even a wife, but i doubt she will want to go to the place i want to go. the tent i have is a sendero four. nice tent tent. big porch to stand up in. . but no good for one person to wild camp. just need a small tent for that and decent rucksack.
in may i will be able to join for a weekend camping scott. but hopefully near a train station. my poor knees are just about clapped out. but the walking may well help

think I have the best of both worlds to be honest have Glasgow ten minutes down the road can cycle to work along a great Sustrans cycle path, then the Trossachs with a shed full of Munros and just beautiful country side have just taken up tenting as want to get 'close to nature' and share the experience of being outdoors, so hopefully CampingScot can meet up.
