Just thought I'd mention this in here in case there are any Discworld fans around (as in the series of books by Terry Pratchett). There are two events being held this year:

This one is held on a field by the people who make the Discworld figurines. There's toilets but no other facilities except for a bar. This year's theme is Monstrous Regiment.

Wadfest is in it's 4th year but being held at Trentfields for the first time which means that there's all the facilities usually associated with this excellent campsite. Wadfest is particularly child friendly and has far more activities than CCDE as a general rule. The theme this year is Don't Go Near the Castle.

This is Auntie M, I'm PR for Wadfest and if you click on the events/meets tab at the top of the page, you'll see Wadfest is already featured. I will be going to Woolpit, myself as I always do but I don't plug it as it's a commercial venture and Wadfest isn't. But we do discuss it on lots of other DW forums that I'm on.

If you've been to Wadfest before, I bet we have met, if we haven't, please introduce yourself to me. It will be lovely to see you.
