Sorry to hear about your mum Claire, we wish her a speedy recovery.

I must now be one of the last to reply re the rally.  We were the last to leave the rally field around about 17:00, ( hung in to the last minute, but feeling a bit lonly).

The rally field was nearly perfect, masses of space, electric and hardstanding (not many rally sites can boast that), but grass a bit longish, but you cant have everything.

We had a wonderful time at the zoo. Once the white tickets were sorted out we had unlimited access to it, which we proceeded to make use of. It was our 3 year old granddaughters first visit to a zoo,  seeing it through her eyes made us feel young again. Especially the Birds of prey flying display, best I have seen by far.

Then, of course, there was the Sunday Boot Sale/Market, which we proceeded to buy up, good job I had the trailer on the back of our Motorhome  to bung all the junk in.

Although I think I managed to speak to everyone, I did not make a note of all the names, so do not  recognise most of the "Rally Names"  But I am sure the 4 Motorhomes, 2 caravans and 3 tents had as good a time as we did.

Hope to run into all again.

All Our  Best Wishes to everyone,

Brian, Ann, granddaughter Jade not forgetting the two dogs Linxy and Whiskey.

Hi Steve and Lisa

I left approx 2pm, went wrong on the way home, so took about 5 hours. Never mind, we made it back through the wind and rain with no probs.

See you again.

Sorry my reply took so long! We took about 3hr 45min to get home.  I worked out how to program the sat nav to miss out the road works on the A17, so it was relatively uneventful trip home.

On the plus side of the run home, something settled in on the engine (remember me telling you it had just come out the garage after major engine work), and I got all my power back and it stopped smoking everyone out behind.

Claire

Just wanted to say I hope your mum's ok.

Me and Sally thought there must of been something happen for you not to turn up, so we understand, and the kids still had a good time at the zoo!
