We have booked for the Essex meet next month. The pictures of the pub look really good, but has anyone stayed here before? I cannot find any reviews of the place.

Cool. Looking forward to it if our youngest is out of his tantrum phase! He will be three by the time we go. Do you know how many are booked for this one? It will be our second ever UKCS meet (went to Kent last year). It caught my eye as it is so close to us (we are in East London) and because Cas is hosting and she did a fantastic job in Kent last year.

Hiya ......... there are a few booked already, although I have not had an update for a couple of weeks, still early days

Glad little one is settling down, bless they all go thro it ...... 

We are back at Biddenden in June again, and hopefully more in Kent and Essex this year ........

Cas if you are looking for more Essex venues, have you tried Waldegrave holiday park on Mersea Island? They are in the UKCS brochure. We had a great time there last year. It is right on the coast (beach is stoney) and looks to have coarse as well as sea fishing.

If all goes well, we may be in Biddenden again this year. I never did get to try the local cider!
