Gosh I leave you lot for 5 mins and how many messages for me lol .(its sooo nice to be needed) My daughter is in France this week with the school and has just phoned me sobbing she is home sick needless to say I stayed calm on the phone then had a nervous breakdown when I got off the phone bless her roll on friday when shes home.(God I need a drink)

Hopefully sunshine permitted we'll have a BBQ Sat night just fetch what ever you want to cook i will talk to you when i get there, we can either cook and eat our own food or just put it on a central table and all get stuck in .I like the sharing thing think it brings everyone together but I'll go with the flow

Thanks Claire, definitely want to stay together. When we went to Lickhill a couple of years ago (our first meet) we didn't know what to do etc and pitched completely away from the group ! Felt like billy-no-mates ! lol

I've just seen the weather and its looking good !!!! 7.20 am here and trying to get kids ready for school (they keep wanting to go now !) and pack last minute things in the van. I just hope I remember everything - forgotton how to do it, been nearly a year since we last went away !

Probably won't get time to post any more today so everyone have a safe journey and i'll make sure the kettle's on !

hello everyone.....just catching up onthe posts....getting excited now.....!!!

but having said that...I NEED A RANT.......(sorry) at parcelforce...!!!!!

its thursday afternoon.....we were waiting for some last min equip to be delivered. Got a note thru' door on weds saying they had tried to deliver it (ok fine). you have some options....one seemed the best - ask them to del to your local post office and collect it there the next day....Great, I thought! so today i went to my local PO after work .....NO PARCEL !!!     (its got some airbeds and most importantly our new coolbox) I've been spending the last 11/2 hours trying to get thru' to the local parcelforce dept to find out where our bl**dy parcel is.....all i've got is "our lines are busy"....put on hold & then cut off after 10 mins......AAAAAAArrrrrrgh !

dont know what we'll do if we cant get it ......

Sorry to go on...but i'm seething !!!!!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble.

I've just come down with an awful sore throat. Hurts to speak.
Oh, and daughter is changing schools, so need to go to new school in the morning and sort out everything for the new term. All a bit of a last minute thing.

Hi everyone ! All packed here ...... should be leaving about 6pm (once childminded children have gone home).

thewysiwygs .......... one double airbed packed in case you need it (we've got one from our camping days and Mick has just popped it in the van) ...... doesn't take up any room so its there if you want it ........ hope you get somewhere with your parcel !  We'll make room in our fridge if you need anything chilled, not got a very big fridge but can at least keep ya milk cold ! (I know it's not ideal !)

Why does the last two hours before a holiday really dragggggggggggggggg !

thanks alot......still no joy with parcel.....Its worse by the fact that I cant even get thru' to anyone even to find out if I can collect from the main depot (30 miles away !)

I dont ususally go into one...but this is really the pits......

There is a fridge at the orchard you can use . I'll plug it in tomorrow when I get there ,don't stress too much about cool beer its a big fridge  Now where do I start  Ironing and getting stuff ready I am at work until 1 pm tomorrow  so should be at the orchard by 2pm

Emma just fetch what ever you fancy (maybe I shouldn't say that pregnant woman fancy some strange foods )

marshmellows and chalkdust it is then  see you soon, we're leaving about 10ish so should be there for midday, he he cant wait!
