Hello everyone. This is my very first post as I have only just found you through a search engine. I searched for "camping new year" and there you were! My next move is to hopefully reserve a pitch for New Year meet at Wrexham. My question is, have any of you been to this site, and have you ever camped New Years eve? I would welcome any of your comments, advice etc... Had a quick mooch at some of the posts, and of course you all sound great to me. "hippy chick" will love my bus. I have a very old VW Campervan. Keep your eyes peeled for a Baby Pink Campervan with "Living the dream" written across the windscreen.
Camped 2 years ago Mick at the C&CC site at windermere. They have a counrty pub on site called the whistling pig. A fancy dress in a marquee and a new years eve disco. Left it too late to book that one FULL UP. Not to worry Wrexham it is and maybe meet some new friends for the new year!
Many thanks country boy. Will book this evening through the trotting mare direct. Hope to meet up with a few who may be reading this thread and who are going there too.

Thankyou for your warm winter wishes bordercaz. I have a KAZ of my own, you will no doubt meet her as I have just paid for the New years eve tickets over the phone. A nice guy called Gary informed me that there are only a few pitches left now as he has booked in over 20 units on the hard standing alone! A word to the wise... BOOK YOUR TICKETS FOR THE NEW YEARS EVE BUFFET NOW BEFORE THE PLACE IS FULLY BOOKED. It is not exclusive to just the campers.
