Hello everyone. This is my very first post as I have only just found you through a search engine. I searched for "camping new year" and there you were! My next move is to hopefully reserve a pitch for New Year meet at Wrexham. My question is, have any of you been to this site, and have you ever camped New Years eve? I would welcome any of your comments, advice etc... Had a quick mooch at some of the posts, and of course you all sound great to me. "hippy chick" will love my bus. I have a very old VW Campervan. Keep your eyes peeled for a Baby Pink Campervan with "Living the dream" written across the windscreen.

I haven't camped at that site, but I have camped at New Year, you can't go far wrong with enough warm clothes and bedding.

Ttrotting Mare is a lovely pub, we have had meets there before. There are lots of hardstanding pitches so the baby pink won't get splashed with mud.

Thanks for that info, Michael. Gary is the owner, when I ring I always get the barstaff who don't always know the full situation.

Perhaps you would like to put a post on the relevant thread here , updating the information about places taken? Thanks.
