I'm probably talking to myself now, if they've already gone...

...anyway...pubs usually get an automatic licensing extension on New Years Eve, Wondermummy (depending on the area policies). I don't know if it being a Sunday this year makes a difference. I don't know how much is being charged. The last time I went in for a drink a notice on the wall just said 'ticket only'. I object to local pubs charging for admission just because it's New Year...it's just another seasonal money making scam unless they are providing something extra like a free drink or nibbles or live entertainment or something. I may pop in before then and find out.

Thanks for the invite, Daisy. I think the weather has put paid to any ideas of spending a night in a field - lol - but I'm sure our paths will cross sooner or later.

The grass in places was a quadmire and some people had trouble getting there vehicles off the grass, but I drove very slowly and was ok there is a concrete area by the entrance which is a better place to park if you don't want to risk the grass and lucily the new years eve party is in the barn which is dry and has heat, we will be popping up there later to say hello but this time the tent will be staying at home in the shed! Happy New Year to all the Uk Campsite Members! 

Even us tenters had a good time once we had some decent ground anchors for the tent. Wow!!! what a great week we all had despite the rain and wind.......... It was great to see you all old and new faces and nice to get to know ukcs members better.

Thanks to Paul & Wendy for yet again a very succesful meet, will look forward to returning to Church Farm again on another meet. Also thanks to all the folks who helped us out when it got colder, especially our Nomes & Richard for the loan of the extra blankets, woolly hats and extra heater.

Look forward to seeing you all again very soon ........ maybe I'll be in a caravan then lol!!!!!!

I think you might be right there Daisy lol

She feels a lot better thanks ....... & thank you for your help when she had her asthma attack...... I have told her she must keep her inhalers with her at all times. I think nearly everybody had some kind of health problem or another but we still managed to party on eh?

I hope your knees are ok other wise you won't be able to wear your Dorothy dress again lol xx
