Hi Folks, as mentioned elsewhere we are staying at Cruachan in a Holiday Home with Marcus for two weeks at Easter. I have provisionally booked 5 pitches for others who wish to bring tourers etc along for a wee get together. If you can let me know if you are interested either on this topic or via the e-mail in my signature I will see if we can get a reduction in the price for you.
Hope it all goes well Papa wish I had the time to get there, will be keepin an eye on the Scottish meets but cant promise anything as you know big year for both teens, exams, hopefully things will calm down after this lol.

Yep, definitely interested (as mentioned on another thread). Caravan,EHU, awning if poss, 3 adults. 12 nights arriving Sunday 1 April 07.
Should we ring the site and book direct? (Unless they've hiked the prices this year, it's very competitive anyway).
Hi Andrew, as I have not recieved a reply to my e-mails I suggest you book a pitch and mention that you wish to be beside other ukcampsite.co.uk members who identify themselves when booking. Marc1 will be booking the Static which we have reserved and I think Sparky1958 is also going to be on the site for a few days. I am also assuming that there is not going to be many of us, possibly due to the late time of sorting it out on my part. Hopefully the site owner will attempt to put any tourers/tets together for us although I am sure we will soon find each other on the site.

Trying hard to persuade the missus on this one.
Now seem to have a problem with the hierarchy regarding holidays starting 2nd April but have informed them thats its my way or the highway LOL.
Will definately try and spend a few days but want to explore the east neuk of fife for a few days.
Just long enough to knock the neck off a bottle of malt and recover LOL.
Hi Derek, if you don't make it then you will have to organise a weekend in May or June up your way so we can get together! That bottle sounds really nice!
Will see you at Cruachan Andrew, will let you know when we are going to be arriving, its only about an hour and a half up the road for us so probably be arriving around 1ish! Depends on if I have a lie-in or not! lol

Aren't you lucky!!! Cruachan Farm is 284 miles from where I sit, tryping this post. It'll be dark by the time we get there - maybe 7pm ish.
Sorry peeps not going to make this one as we have arranged to stay the week at Kinkell Brae's St Andrews and the In Laws are coming down to stay in a static.
Have posted HERE re another meet in July but will still look around for another venue for May or June up our way on Papa's instruction LOL .
Hope you all have a great time and if we can find time we will have a run across for a blether.

Not one to add to the favourites then
It was disappointing that the main shower/toilet block was being refurbished and was unavailable during our stay - and that one of the gent's loos in the smaller block on the lower field was unusable for a day. Having said that, it sure didn't spoil our holiday.
I got back yesterday, after 10 nights at Cruachan Farm. I've been there twice now and it is *definitely* staying near the top of my list of favourite sites. The site is in one of the most scenic locations I've visited (I'll post some photos once the film has been developed) and is very reasonably priced - cost me £14/night for a caravan, 3 adults and EHU.
The restaurant made up for the other 'wee' problems which where beeing addressed. Don't forget that they do have a couple of statics for hire, we had a great time!
Sorry we didn't get to spend too much time with you Andrew, humble appologies. I think I excercised more on Cruachan than I have for a long time. I too still have some pictures to sort out but will hopefully get round to it soon.
See you all again soon!

And in the end,it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. (AL)
