Not sure I understand: insert correct key, turn, door opens. If that doesn’t happen, try another key until you try the correct one.
MH model is neither here nor there, btw.
Well, several of our keys have identical fobs & it takes me several goes to find the right one as some go in but don’t turn.
So you can turn your key 90 degrees, but the door doesn’t open: hopefully someone will have advice because all I can say is that our door is sometimes a bit sticky as if there’s suction on the seal. But it does open with a wee tug, carefully using the key like a handle as the door doesn’t just swing open.

Does door have button on other corner of door ? Press that once unlocked.
Further to Billy's post, on mine, once unlocked (90 degree rotation of key) BOTH lock barrel AND Button on opposite corner need depressing to release catches and open locker door. Simply 'unlocking' the lock barrel does NOT release the catch!

You’re right, on modern toilet doors. Our current one is like that, but our 1993 Clubman wasn’t that sophisticated: turn central key 90 degrees & tug gently. I kinda wondered about the extra lock, who’d want to steal a toilet cassette?!
The cost of them makes them a pinchable item.
People who off grid often have two.

At around £250 RRP for a replacement, even around £140 at a discount, I suspect far too many would be willing to 'liberate' one!!!!!! .... and as to a certain 'community', not a hesitation in the world!!!!
.... as to it being 'used', most of us acquire our caravans/MHs s/h with 'used' cassettes fitted, doubt we get too squeamish about that! ..... mind, I did sanitise mine inside and out quite thoroughly before use!
A certain ‘community’ wouldn’t dream of using the onboard facilities .
