Most UK sites are 16 or 10 amp which gives either 3,680 or 2,300 watts, so a 2Kw heater will not trip it unless you try to use the water heater, boil the kettle or use some other high draw appliances at the same time.

But beware French sites which are usually only 6 amp - 1,380 watts - so stick to lower power heaters there.

I use an Halogen heater with 2 x Heat settings, 400 and 800watts, with safety switch built in, so if it get's knocked over it simply switches off. Like blondieandi said it also doubles as a night light. Keeps the chill off even in the depths of Winter. Paid around £9 for it, been worth it's weight.

I don't have a problem with the heat it provides it's a warm little bugger...... but we like to keep it ticking over on the stat through the night...and every time it starts up...I wake up...

We had a go with the oil filled heater, although it is silent it took too long to warm up and when warm did not give off the same heat as the small fan heater , so then we tried a 2kw convector heater, this was much better, a constant heat, silent, and well within the amps limit , we had it on a low to medium setting all w/end running alongside the Henry water heater, TV, booster box,  mains lights, and Fridge,  the only time we turned it off was to boil the kettle, ( I did boil the kettle once while it was plugged in and it didn't trip, but I didn't want to tempt fate )

So if I was to recommend a heater it would be... the convector... with the fan in 2nd place... and the oil coming in last.
