Thanks for your replys everyone, and new rover hope your happy with your van my Suspicious mind thinks you might be someone from work on the wind up if not nice to here another Hughes has good taste.

I am from Glasgow originally been down here since parents brought me down 26 years ago still miss Glasgow, just got a bit suspicious with it being your first post as the guys from work always see me on this sight and have been know for the odd wind up.

How do you like your autoquest so far we are really pleased with ours still running in though as only done 5000 miles and 3000 of them was our summer hols probably a few wee things we would change or add but will do that bit by bit.

Yeah, very happy with mine Gerry. Like you I have only done 5500 miles but have been over to Germany with mine.

One tank of diesel took me from Glasgow to Newcastle then Ijmuden (Amsterdam) to Fallingbostel (between Hamburg and Hanover). My youngest daughter and her family are there. Her husband is in the army there.

Unfortunately, I made a big mistake in not locking my van properly one night and some scumbag stole my 19" LCD TV. Mind you he/they were considerate and used a Phillips screwdriver to remove it from the swinging arm, so not much damage done. BIG BIG lesson learned. Van is all alarmed now and extra lock fitted to habitation door on outside.

Anyway, may meet up sometime down in D&G next summer.

Nice to know you like yours also, this is (as my 11 year old would say) is even more freaky as we too where in Germany in the summer full tank did us from Dumfries to Lux filled up again and headed for Frilburg not sure of spelling.

Dont know if youv'e been to York cc site Sophie (daughter) and me went for few days at start of dec and lovely place.
