Believe it or not I sold my Elddis a couple of years ago to a lady who didn't come to see it. She sent a deposit and the remainder by cheque which, once cleared and on an allotted date meant the caravan was hers.

She sent somebody to collect it from the storage compound, I believe, and that was that.

Spotted one in Caravan Club Classified. Burstner Avango advertised as being in Nottinghamshire. When I enquired I was informed it was in Eastleigh Hampshire, owner in Monaco. Wanted to use Google Wallet and I would have 5 days cooling off period,even gave a link to Google Wallet.It looked like a Google site but it was a spoof, nothing to do with Google. I checked up on Google Search and similar scams are being used for cars both here and in USA. Its not only Ebay,I advised caravanselcta who have since advised me that the advert was  being removed

Saw a 2012 kontiki 649 advertised on Gumtree for £15.000.Nothing else to do so sent a reply tthrough Gumtree,who do not disclose your email,to the seller.He replied tonight saying vehicle was available in Cardiff at that money  and he could deliver.Please send me your e mail as Gumtree delay any correspondence.Don't think so!
