No, but you are trying to annoyingly obfuscate a damned simple operation. The link was more concerned with commercial use of batteries linking 4 or more.
The OP simply wanted to know how to connect 2 batteries and we informed him of the quickest, easiest and safest way.
He didnt need to know about Voltage drops etc because with 2 batteries closely connected it would be so infinitesimal as to be ignored.
My logic when trying to assist someone who doesnt seem to have a lot of knowledge on something is to advise them of the safest, easiest, most logical and most used way so as not to confuse them, not start throwing technical peculiarities at them, which really arent relevant.
Anyway the OP, now knows how to do it. I'm out.
